Project measures:
The currently envisaged Project measures are as follow:
Construction and equipping of a New Regional Non-Hazards Waste Landfills for
Municipal Solid Waste;
Construction of Transfer Stations and Provision of Long-Distance Transport
Equipment;
Provision of Equipment for Street Sweeping, Waste Collection/Transportation;
Environmentally Sound Closure of Existing Landfills (Existing Zugdidi and Poti
Landfills); and
Brief Description of the Contract:
The scope of this contract includes two main components:
1. The closure of the existing landfill located in Poti.
2. The construction of two waste management facilities, comprising a transfer station in
Poti and a transfer point in Lakhani.
The successful Contractor will be responsible for the complete execution of both the landfill
closure and the construction works, in full compliance with the project’s technical
specifications and relevant requirements.
Successful Bidder: Joint Venture of (1) Anagi LLC. (Lead Partner), Georgia, and (2)
Hofstetter Environmental S.R.L, Romania
Estimated Time for Completion: From August 2025 to January 2027
Contract Amount: EUR 8,069,479.90 (inclusive of Provisional Sums and VAT)
