29/05/2018 – New EU standard trash bins will be conveyed in the regions of Georgia. As the tourist season approaches, municipalities will receive 10 000 containers to keep regions clean and to improve ecological conditions in touristic zones.
Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Grigol Katsia and the Director of Ltd “Solid Waste Management Company of Georgia”, Giorgi Shukhoshvili met the first deputy of Kakheti region’s Governor and the Mayor of Telavi.
250 plastic trash bins (1100-liter) produced in Germany were conveyed to Telavi Municipality. Municipalities of Kakheti region will receive 1800 trash bins in total.
More then 5, 5 million Gel was spent on 10 000 containers for the regions.
