Ltd. “Solid Waste Management Company of Georgia” with coordination of Giorgi Shukhoshvili held first Steering Committee Meeting within the framework of the project “Integrated Solid Waste Management Kutaisi.”
The accomplished works of the project, future plans, and other project-related details were discussed at the meeting.
The Steering Committee members attended the meeting together with the representatives of KfW, PEM, the Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Resources of Georgia, and Kutaisi City Hall.
Ltd. “Solid waste Management Company of Georgia” with financial support of KfW Entwicklungsbank is implementing the Project “Integrated Solid Waste Management Kutaisi.” The project implies building a new sanitary landfill in Kutaisi, which will serve for Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti regions.
