Special Equipment for the Regions of Georgia
Special waste loader trucks (YTO Zl50F) were purchased for the regions of Georgia by Ltd. “Solid Waste Management Company of Georgia” with coordination of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia. For the effective implementation of works the purchased special equipment will serve Kutaisi and Khashuri renewed polygons.

The closure of Zestaphoni Municipal landfill has been finished
Zestafoni Municipal landfill, active since 2007, has been closed. In terms of the closure works, the polygon surface formation has been reconstructed; waste was covered with soil. From the side of river Mkvirala, in case of floods, the coastal protection works has been arranged to eliminate the risk of river pollution.
