15/09/2016 German Accompanying Measures Consultant company PEM , within the framework of Solid Waste Management Company on behalf of the German Development Bank – “Integrated Solid Waste Management System – Kutaisi” project , held the regional media 2-day Seminar .
Workshop was prepared for journalists and included general overview of the solid waste management system in Georgia, the current situation, challenges and objectives.
Participants were able to discuss waste management related topics with local and international experts, (Accompanying Measures Consultant company PEM). Accompanying Measures Consultant Company PEM and its associated partners: INTECUS (Germany) and GAMMA (Georgia) are consulting/serving the Solid Waste Management Company to implement the project.
In order to enhance their understanding in waste management system, participants visited Samtredia municipal rehabilitated landfill.
