The tender for the purchase of municipal waste collection equipment within the framework of Integrated Solid Waste Management Programme II Kakheti and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti regions has been renewed.
Deadline: 14 March 2022.
“Integrated Solid Waste Management Programme II includes the construction of new regional non-hazardous waste disposal landfills in accordance with European standards for Kakheti and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti regions. The existing Landfills in the regions will be closed, and completely replaced by new regional landfills and a network of transfer stations. Municipalities will be equipped with waste collection, cleaning, and special equipment. The transition to a modern waste system will dramatically improve the sanitary-hygienic condition in the regions.
The project is implemented within Georgia-Germany Financial Cooperation, through the financial support of the German Bank for Reconstruction and Development (KfW).
